Buffalo was founded on a love of timeless design and an appreciation for the outdoors. For over a decade, we’ve been creating spaces for weddings, parties and corporate events across the South West and beyond.
Planning an outdoor event from scratch can be daunting. We make it simple with two beautiful marquee options, a select range of quality furnishings and a planning process we’ve spent years getting right.
We know our tents inside out, and we’re pretty good at knowing what works in them, too. We don’t just rent you a tent.
No two events are quite the same, but you’ve got to start somewhere. We’ve put together a few tried-and-tested packages to give you an idea of what works, what you’ll need and what it might cost. Think of them as a starting point.

Backyard weddings! ⛺️✨
Not every setup is straightforward, but if we think it can work, we’ll make it work. For Charlotte & Andrew’s wedding, we carefully squeezed three tipis into a tight gravel yard: two for dining, one for the stage. With a keen eye for creativity and a flexible approach, we shape each space to fit the celebration.

Elevating your wedding doesn’t have to cost you the earth ✨
You don’t need to spend more to make your wedding feel special. Sometimes, it’s just about knowing where to focus. Here are 5 simple ways to make your marquee wedding feel extra special without spending a fortune.
1️⃣ Don’t only focus on the inside. A few pieces of lounge furniture (hired or borrowed from home) and plants pots or greenery can make a huge difference. You want the space immediately outside your marquee to feel just as considered as the inside
2️⃣ Think of a good restaurant. Small, high-quality speakers spread your chosen playlist evenly throughout the marquee, creating a great atmosphere without deafening guests closest to the speakers.
3️⃣ Don’t let your beautifully lit marquee open onto a pitch-black field. Festoon lighting creates inviting outdoor spaces and a couple of uplighters illuminating large trees can create an incredible backdrop for very little expense.
4️⃣ Don’t only focus on the tables….look up. Our simple rope and pulley systems let you hang lanterns, foraged greenery or floral installations above your guests. A relatively inexpensive way to make a huge impact.
5️⃣ Nobody wants to dance in a brightly lit marquee. Nominate someone to switch off the overhead lights when the party starts. Keep the bar lit, add some low-level lighting and let the DJ’s lights do the rest.
